Buckingham Palace

6 July 2012

On Friday, we postponed our classes because our directors were able to get us tickets into Buckingham Palace! It’s only open to visitors twice a year, one month each, and usually it’s in August. But because of the Olympics, they moved it so that two weeks were in the beginning of July. Awesome, right?

The palace was beautiful! Obviously. I mean, it’s a palace. But again, no pictures, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. They have gorgeous chandeliers and awesome furniture. I loved it! Can you imagine growing up in a place like that? That’d be so crazy!

Afterward, we had class, and then I finished reading my book for history and prepared my presentation. So it was a rather boring night. However, some of the girls went to a place called Ben’s Cookies (it’s supposed to be amazing!), and they brought me back a macadamia nut/white chocolate chip cookie. Oh my goodness. It was delicious! And big! I almost couldn’t eat the whole thing…but I did anyway because it was so yummy.

Anyway, this is kind of a boring post, but I promise I’m still having fun!
